I build computer vision systems for the real world — currently working on person-detection models for autonomous security robots at Knightscope. I care about robust models, fast data pipelines, and shipping things that work outside the lab.

What I’m working on

• Vision in production — person-detection models robust to low-light, occlusion, and false-positive sources (billboards, screens, posters).
• Data pipelines at scale — efficient multi-process / multi-threaded data loaders for large image and video datasets.
• Interpretability — independent research on how CNN classifiers form internal representations.
